2021 Office Visit Coding Insights | Webinar

2021 Office Visit Coding Insights
March 25, 2021 @ 12:00 pm EST

Please note: Registration closes at 5:00 pm the day before the webinar. If you miss the registration deadline, you will be able to watch the webinar on-demand following the event.

What do we know now about selecting the level of service for new and established patients that we didn’t know before we started using them? What are we more confident about, and what less so? This webinar will review definitions and rules that are the most confusing, including the complexity of problems, crediting data accurately, risk related to major and minor procedures and documenting time. We’ll review clarifications from the CPT Assistant to date. This webinar is for coders and clinicians who already have a basic grasp of the new guidelines.

After the presentation, participants will be able to:

  • Differentiate between acute and chronic problems
  • Know when to credit an order, the review of test results and independent interpretation
  • Document time for office visits using the new guidelines
