Recorded November 21, 2019
CMS released the 2020 fee schedule on November 1, and it includes policy changes, updated conversion factor and RVUs. This webinar will highlight the key policy changes for 2020.
In response to comments, CMS adopted some of their proposals from July, but not all. Hear about the changes to the supervision rule for physician assistants (not a billing rule change), burden relief regarding medical record documentation related to PA and NP students, new HCPCS code for Principal Care Management, changes to TCM, adoption of new CPT code for remote monitoring, consent for non face-to-face services and CMS’s confirmation of 2021 E/M changes.
After the presentation, participants will be able to:
- Describe the rule changes for PA/NP students
- Assess if your practice can use the new Principal Care Management code
- Anticipate 2021 E/M changes
