Would you be able to provide examples of usage for 99358/99359 (Prolonged Services Non Face-to-Face)
These are the examples I have informed my providers about:
1. Medical Records review, review of diagnostic test results
2. Discussing patient case with another physician
3. Any other on-going management of the patient related to an E/M service
Hi, I am wondering if there is a time frame for which the prolonged service can be billed after the E&M face to face visit?
So patient was seen in January and the provider was just able to make contact with the other physician (psych), in April, related to the patients care.
Is the 99358 still billable?
Any insight on this would be great. thanks
