CMS’s 2027 Proposed Medicare Physician Fee Schedule Rule
CMS releases its policy changes for physician practices every summer, giving stakeholders 60 days to comment before the Final Rule is released in November. The policies, new HCPCS codes and values are effective 1-1-2027. In addition to RVUs and the conversion factor, the rule contains important coding policy proposals. Join us to hear about CMS’s proposals for telehealth, E/M services related to CPT changes, and policies for Rural Health Clinics and Federally Qualified Health Centers. This webinar describes proposed changes. It’s the first look we have at what CMS is thinking about for policy changes in 2027.
After the webinar, participants will be able to:
- Describe the timeline for comments implementation of policies in the final rule
- Identify coding policy changes that will affect their practices
- Compare CMS’s E/M proposed policies with CPT rules
